Payments
Payment for all items is
due within 5 days of the listing's ending date. Gildred Racing will send
an e-mail reminder if payment has not been made within 3 days. If we
have not received payment nor heard from you by the 7th day,
we will assume non-payment.
PayPal is preferred.
Money Orders and Cashiers Checks are accepted but please make
arrangements with us for that form of payment before sending them.
Gildred Racing does not
accept payments from non US addresses.
General Shipping Policies
Buyer pays shipping and
handling unless otherwise stated. Shipping quotes are based on the
actual published rates currently charged by UPS or whatever shipping
carrier we use. Additional charges by UPS (such as rural delivery
charges and fuel surcharges) may be applicable depending on your
location.
All package shipments are
sent "UPS Ground." Due to our location, "Overnight" and "Second Day"
shipping are not available.
All shipments are
processed and picked up by UPS within 5 business days of sale. All
packages will be received within 5-10 business days of shipment.
Currently Gildred Racing
does not ship outside the US.
Insurance
Insurance is at the
option of the buyer on all packages.
We are not financially
responsible for packages once the carrier has received them. All
insurance claims need to be made directly with UPS or other carrier
within 5 business days of receiving the package.
Freight
For larger items, a
commercial freight carrier may be used. All Freight orders will be
insured for the total amount of the merchandise ordered. All freight
orders are subject to a pallet fee.
Customers should allow
5-7 business days for freight orders to be prepared and picked up by the
carrier.
All freight orders can
only be delivered to business addresses with loading dock. Residential
addresses and business address without loading docks will need to pick
up the pallet at a local distribution center due to high surcharges from
the carrier.
Shipping Substitutions
Gildred Racing reserves
the right to use the identical services of any other national shipping
carrier (UPS, DHL, FedEx or USPS) without prior notification or written
consent. Should you choose to decline shipping insurance, you accept
full responsibility for all damages or losses incurred in the shipping
process.
Combined Shipping
Due to the variation of
products on our website, which range vastly in size, weight and
fragility, the combination of products might not result in optimal
savings for the buyer, therefore, we do not recommend it. If you order
multiple items at the same time, after the first package, we will
discount each other package $5. For more detailed information on how our
shipping works, please click our "calculate shipping" icon located on
every auction.
Local
Pick-up
Customers may pick their
merchandise up locally to save on shipping fees when or if permitted,
however, handling fees still apply.
Local Pick Up customers
must have completed the payment process prior to arriving at the
facility. No payment will be accepted at our warehouse.
All local pick up
customers will be required to present a valid form of ID (drivers
license or other photo ID) with the identical name to that which appears
on their eBay account.
Customers will also be
required to sign for product before leaving the facility. Please email
us (support@halfprice.net) for pick-up arrangements and hours.
As-is
The buyer agrees that the
items advertised in this listing are "as-is" and, therefore, no warranty
is intended or implied, unless stated otherwise.
Donor car viewing
Donor cars are not
available for customers to view due to insurance reasons.
